during my second artist residency at jupiterfab in guadalajara, mexcio (august-october, 2022) i was working on my second mural with my local artist collaborator, ANI. i visited ANI's studio and asked her to walk me through one of her art lessons. ANI emphasized letting go and making room for flow. it was a happy and much needed alternative to the very detailed and grueling work we were doing on the mandala style mural. i ended up loving the result, and am continuing to work on allowing more flow into my artistic process.
